Guppie je još jedan višenamenski alat koji dolazi kao proizvod odličnih ideja i dizajna iz CRKT-a. Odgovorni za kreiranje ovog patentiranog alata su Tom Stokes i Launce Barber iz ID Works laboratorije pri Columbia River Knives and Tools. Pored toga što je ovo simpatični gadžet, takođe je i izuzetan dodatak bilo kom svakodnevnom kompletu.
CRKT Guppie je napravljen od 2Cr13 nerđajućeg čelika i ukupne dimenzije su mu:
- Ukupna dužina otvorenog alata 140mm
- Ukupna dužina zatvorenog alata 90mm
- Težina 116g
Dužina sečiva je 2“ i ono je wharncliff oblika, što ga čini idealnim za precizne poslove sečenja. Samo sečivo je urađeno u hollow grind tehnici brušenja i crne je boje. Tvrdoća kaljenja sečiva je 51-53 HRC i sečivo se može otvoriti jednom rukom i ne zaključava se već je takozvani slip joint odnosno sa oprugom koja ga drži na mestu. Sa jedne strane se nalazi pomični univerzalni ključ, odnosno tzv. „francuski“ ključ, koji pomoću zavojnog vretena može biti podešavan do otvora čeljusti maksimalno ½“ ili 12,7mm, a ovo je uglavnom opseg svih manjih popravki za koje je ovaj alat podesan. Na drugoj strani tela CRKT Guppie ima tzv. karabinjer pomoću kojeg ga možemo zakačiti za bilo koji deo opreme, a takođe poseduje i džepnu šnalu / pocket clip pa može biti nošen gotovo bilo gde i na bilo koji način. Sa zadnje strane nalazi se isečak za ¼“ bitove sa magnetom kako bitovi ne bi ispadali.
Za telo Guppie je na vrlo interesantan način pričvršćen i držač bitova. Naime držač ima na sebi magnet i dve kružne izbočine koje precizno ležu na svoje mesto na telu i tako stoje vrlo čvrsto pričvršćene. Nosač bitova je takođe i LED lampa, doduše skromnih mogućnosti, ali dovoljna da pomogne u situacijama kada je svetlo potrebno. U nosaču bitova su uredno složena četiri standardna bita, i to dva filipsa i dva obična ravna, što je takođe sasvim dovoljno za većinu opravki.
CRKT Guppie je vrlo interesantan, dobro konstrukciono rešen i kvalitetan alat koji svu svoju vrednost pokazuje upravo u urbanim uslovima, kod kuće i na poslu. Gotovo da je idealan za sve sitne dnevne zadatke na koje možemo naići. Dizajnerski ovaj alat spada među veoma poželjne i sigurno će skrenuti pažnju okoline gde god da se nalazi. Guppie mogu podjednako uspešno koristiti kako profesionalci, tako i amateri. CRKT Guppie je u svakom slučaju veoma vredan deo EDC kompleta.

At Guppie’s body we can find attached a bit holder, namely the holder has a magnet on it and two circular protrusions that lay precisely in its place on the body and so are very firmly attached. Bit holder has a LED light, albeit a modest capability, but enough to help in situations where light is needed. The carrier bits are neatly arranged and there you can find four standard bits, two Phillips and two flat, which is also quite sufficient for most repairs.
CRKT Guppie is very interesting, well-resolved constructive and efficient tool that shows all of its value in the urban environment, at home and at work. It is almost ideal for small daily tasks that we encounter. Highly desirable design is quite eye catching. Guppie can equally well be used use by professionals as well as amateurs. CRKT Guppie is certainly a very valuable part of any EDC kit.
